R Ashwin raised questions on the selectors
Team India is going to play a Test series against Australia in their own home next month. Young batsman Sarfaraz Khan has failed to make his place in the first two matches of this series. R Ashwin believes that Sarfaraz Khan, who has performed brilliantly in domestic cricket, is not only knocking on the doors of selection, but has also burnt them. But his non-selection is unfortunate.
Big statement given in support of Sarfaraz
Ravichandran Ashwin said on his YouTube channel, ‘There has already been a lot of talk about Sarfaraz Khan. Where do I start? Let me tell you that this player is not caring about his selection. His batting average has been more than 100 in the last three years. His strike rate is also good. Sarfaraz has broken the choice entryways as well as consumed them. Sadly, he can’t get his determination in Group India. In spite of not being chosen, he performed splendidly against Delhi.
Excellent record in domestic cricket
Sarfaraz Khan, 25, has so far played 37 first-class matches, in which he has scored 3505 runs at an average of 79.65. After scoring more than 2000 runs in domestic cricket format, only Sir Don Bradman player has a better average than him. Whereas in 26 List A matches, he has scored 469 runs at an average of 39.08.
